SASTOJCI:

- 1 kg očišćenih dunja

- 75 dag šećera

- Vode toliko da prekrije dunje

- 1 limun


PRIPREMA:

1. Dunje oprati, oguliti i isjeći na komadiće

2. Kuhati u posudi s malo vode tek da su prekrivene

3. Kad dunje omekane i voda ispari, višak vode odstaniti, ispasirati ih i izdrucati

4. Dodati šećer i limunov sok i po želji sjeckanih oraha

5. Miješati dok se ne prohladi

6. Istresti u oplahnuti limeni ili keramički kalup

7. Nakon barem mjesec dana sušenja istresti iz kalupa (NAPOMENA: ako želite kitnkez jesti ranije, poslije dodavanja šećera prokuhajte barem sat vremena)

8. Kitnkez se može odmah i jesti, ali je bolji što duže stoji
